The Mongol Rally is an adventure from the very top drawer that makes a massive positive impact to this here planet by raising huge stacks of money for charity.
All the teams on the Mongol Rally must endeavour to raise a minimum of £1000 for charity per car. The first £500 of the £1000 suggested donation needs to go to the official charity. For 2013, the official Mongol Rally charity is the Cool Earth.
The charity we chose is SOS Children’s Villages (SOS Barnbyar) in Mongolia. We would like to raise 100 000 SEK for the SOS village located outside Ulaanbaatar. We hope you will help us reach this goal.
If you feel like donating a few bucks to the kids, feel free to do so here.
Just to be clear. All the funds raised for the charities goes directly to their banks. The cost of running the Mongol Rally is completely separate.
SOS Children’s Villages believe that children can only develop to their full potential if they have a supportive and protective family environment. They work to make this a reality. And we support that!
SOS Children’s Villages are currently running approximately 2100 facilities across 133 countries.
Lets help each other help others.
Together with SOS Children’s Villages we have set up a charity page, where all the money raised goes directly to their efforts in Mongolia. Click here to go to the page.
